Welcome to the Bay Village Civic Association. Incorporated by concerned homeowners and neighbors in January, 2007, our mission is to preserve our home values and quality of life, while enhancing the charm and character of the Village of Amityville.

Traffic congestion, need for a vision and long term plan, and improvement of Village codes are our most imminent concerns. While growth and development are inevitable, our belief is that it should be done in a manner sensitive to the residential community.

General membership meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 7 P.M. Currently, they are held at Village Hall on the second floor. You will also receive a monthly Newsletter. It will update you on all public Village meetings. Additionally, it contains a community calendar.

Please consult the official Village website at www.amityville.com to stay informed, as well. Your suggestions and participation in committees would be appreciated.

Throughout the year, we plan social events. These have been celebrations or recognition of special moments in our Village. Hopefully, you will be able to join us at some in the future.

Amityville is a unique community on the South Shore of Long Island. We cherish our precious but fragile quality of life. In collaboration with Village officials and other organizations, we aspire to keep Amityville the charming Bay Village that it is today. Thank you for your support.
